Accessible (ALH)

This range of one-storey houses are ideal as starter homes and can be easily amended for wheelchair use. They would also work well as retirement or holiday homes. These buildings have been specifically designed to meet a tight budget with roof construction, drainage runs, electrical layouts and heating systems all kept straightforward. Construction time and costs are therefore dramatically reduced

Being single storey and narrow, these houses do not allow for a stair to be fitted or the roofspace to be used. Nevertheless, the longhouse plan and open living gives these buildings a sense of space and luxury. These are superb homes for those starting on the property ladder, looking to develop a holiday let business, or wishing to downsize to a modest bungalow. The designs can easily be modified to suit your particular needs.
