This design is the same as the LH402 except with one difference.  It has a box dormer which allows a the two upstairs bedrooms to share a central bathroom.

This house packs a lot of space into a simple form.  Central to this is the clever design.  A wall of service areas run down its back, leaving the living and bedroom spaces uncluttered.   Entry is into a spacious wind lobby which has seating for removing boots to the left, and a handy utility room to the right. This leads onto the open plan dining and living room.  These are defined by a change in volume with a spectacular double-height space bringing real architectural drama. The kitchen is separate but sliding doors means that the host/hostess can easily talk to guests while serving dinner, or close off the bùrach if required.

The focal point for the living room is a central stove.  Large areas of glazing open on to a deck, bringing the outside in.  The living room windows will ideally frame the best view and make use of passive solar gain throughout the year.  The smaller downstairs bedroom is conveniently located opposite the shower-room and has access to storage under the stair.  However, this bedroom is often used as an office. The second downstairs bedroom has an ensuite and built-in wardrobe.
 
A feature stair from the dining room leads to the attic space and the third and fourth bedrooms. With twin skylight, built-in drawers and coomb cupboards, these rooms are extremely functional and airy.  There iare generous hanging cupboards on the landing opposite the shared bathroom.  As with all our designs, the bathroom and kitchens can be supplied by Heb Homes.
