Hebridean Homes - a miracle has happened
06/06/2010
Scotland's leading cultural commentator, Muriel Gray, has paid an astonishing tribute to Hebridean Contemporay Homes in her latest comment piece in the Sunday Herald:
"...wonderful contemporary building companies, such as one based on Skye that has created a series of stunning, completely affordable kit houses of simple beauty based on the traditional black house plan, but using acres of floor-to-ceiling glass and modern, renewable technology. Their buildings enhance the savage beauty of the Highland landscapes they were designed to complement and are nothing short of a joy. The ridiculous notion that affordable has to be repulsive and dysfunctional, has been blown away by such design talent."
