Timber Frame SPECIFICATION

Our timber frame packages offer you a simple, straightforward and highly economical way of proceeding with your building project.  Builders in Scotland are very familiar with timber frame, so your main contractor on site should be able to install the kit for you as part of the build process.  We therefore don't offer an installation service.   Our timber frame kits are made to a very high standard using 150mm stud frame and include high quality rigid insulation.

Our basic timber frame kit is offered as Package C.   This is the supply of kit to site including the windows, insulation, membranes and internal partitions.  This corresponds with Package A in the SIP kit.

Package D is the supply of the full kit including the internal joinery pack.

We can also offer a revolutionary new insulation system where Irynene in sprayed between the studs.  This exceptionally green insulating method will ensure that your timber kit will be airtight and eliminates the danger of poorly fitted or missing insulation. Prices for this to follow.

Turnkey

HEBHOMES can now offer a turnkey serviceto all our clients.  Using architects at Dualchas Building Design, a team of experienced consultants, and our affilated contractors, we can take you through the whole project - from start to finish.

Traditional procurement would mean tendering your house after warrant has been approved.  Your agent will then advise which contractor would be used and organise the contract.  Instead of this tendering process we can arrange for one of our affiliated contractors to build your house, giving more cost certainty.

A decision on whether you would like a turnkey service is not required until after warrant has been approved.  In some cases the location may make this service inappropriate or our affiliated contractors are unable to undertake the work.  If you are interested in this service it would, however, be best if  you notified us at an early stage so that we can programme your build.
