Longhouse | LH302P

This four or five bedroomed version of the Longhouse takes a similar form to the smaller LH202P model, including the ‘lean-to’ extension containing a wind-lobby and utility area, but adds an additional bedroom to the attic space over the master bedroom.  There are two versions of this house, the LH302P.2 having a larger porch and an extra bedroom or office. View the floor plans to see the alternative designs.

The improved utility/cloak area, plus the larger kitchen/dining area – with more workspace and room for a larger table – adds to the practicality of this attractive design. The double-height living room, with its vaulted ceiling and wood-burning stove, forms the home’s natural focal point. Large areas of glazing open onto a deck, bringing the outside in. Ideally, the living room windows will frame the views while making best use of passive solar gain throughout the year.

The master bedroom is easily large enough to accommodate an optional en-suite; alternatively, this room might be used as a TV or family room. The second downstairs bedroom is conveniently located next to the shower-room.

Use our interactive Kuula model to walk or fly through the house design.  Experience the beautiful spaces of Hebhome houses before visiting or building one.  Imagine the interior finishings you want for each room and consider the changes that you may require.  If you proceed with Hebhomes and want to make design changes we recommend these are done within our Kuula models so as to better understand the potential impact on the design.  This should prevent poor choices being made which have unforseen design or engineering consequences.
